Our site design engineers have finished the layout for the 2012 Dancers Extreme Challenge and Dancing Under The Stars. Event dates are June 21-24. With the help of our advisory board, executive staff, survey groups and trusted event planners, we've developed this very special event site plan for your viewing.
Another huge thanks to the Paiute Indian tribe for the use of their land and their event advisory staff for multiple trips out to the lake to help make this such a special place for our dancers to enjoy. Directions to this site, click here.
Our campsite locations are set. However, individual sites may slightly shift as seen on the map in order to accommodate, power lines, water lines, emergency access, or the change in flow of the sand between now and June 21 (sand does shift).
The attached PDF is fully engineered and scaled for safety, foot traffic and maximum user comfort. It's fully suitable for printing or viewing in your favorite PDF viewer.
These buttons identify the locations of our competion challenge sites where teams will go head to head competing for the cash prize and the 2012 coveted trophy. These challenges will take place in the water, over sand dunes, up rock faces in kayaks and in the mind, as your teams place together complex puzzles before the clock runs out. Good luck to all the competitors of 2012. View our Event Schedule. It has an hour by hour breakdown of all 4 days entertainment, dance and fun.
Camp sites can be reserved with the purchase of a standard or VIP pass, up to 30 days prior to the event (May 21). Simply purchase a standard or VIP ticket and send an email to events@latindancemag.com with your requested campsite number. Any remaining campsites are first come first serve at time of check-in.
We have designated two public theme camps called "Villages", you will see them noted on the site map as the "College Village" and "Pirate Village". If you chose to be a part of one of these villages, simply send an email to events@latindancemag.com requesting a campsite number within the village. If you are part of a village you will want to dress or play the part, decorate your tent, make fun flags, etc. prizes will be given out for overall best villages and campsites.
We encourage theme camps outside the two designated villages. They can be a single camp or a cluster of camps, you and your fiends decide.
